his is undoutably the most popular trek in Sikkim and framed for superb mountain views, a floral spectacle in summer, birds and views of pristine forests. The trek passes through the Kanchendzonga Bio-Sphere Reserve Forests and special trekking permits with fees are paid.
Day 01:Bagdogra IXB/Bhadrapur(Nepal) -Gangtok.
Meet on arrival at IXB / Bhadrapur (Nepal),Transfer to Darjeeling after entry Formalities, Drive time, Approx. 4-5 hrs. Halt.
Day 02: Gangtok Cherry City Sightseeing.
Tour Includes Rumtek Dharma Chakra center and Int'l Flower Festival.
Day 03: Gangtok to Yuksom (Sikkim)
Drive from Gangtok to Yuksom the trek base in Western Sikkim via Rabongla and Tashiding, time on the road approx.6-7 hrs. Halt overnight in Yuksom
Day 04: Trek Begins from Yuksom for Tshoka
Alt.2048m/12 kms/6 hrs. O/N Tents / huts
Day 05: Trek Tshoka to Dzongri
Alt 4050 m/9 kms/5 hrs. O/N tents/huts
Day 06: Trek Dzongri to Thangsing
Alt 3930 m/8 kms/4 hrs, O/N tents/huts.
Day 07: Trek- Thangsing to Samiti (3 hrs)
Camp at Samiti.
Day 08: Trek-Samiti to Goechala
Trek-Samiti to Goechala (4940m) and back to Samiti (6 hrs)
Day 09: Samiti to Thangsing (6 hrs)
O/N at tents / huts.
Day 10: Thangsing to Tshoka
Day 11: Tshoka to Yuksom (5hrs)
Day 12: Yuksom to Pemayangtse via Kheocheplari Lake
Lunch and Visit Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Palace Ruins, Halt overnight.
Day 13: Drive to Darjeeling after breakfast via Rangit Tea Gardens,approx.100 kms,5 hrs
Lunch and afternoon free for walk in the Mall and to buy tea.Halt
Day 14: Tiger Hill Sunrise Tour at 4 am to 7.30 am
Return for Breakfast ,and continue Darjeeling City Tour.Lunch,Afternoon free, Dinner and overnight Halt
Day 15: Return drive to IXB/Bhadrapur for flight to onward journey
